Biography
A global leader in cognitive and learning science, Michelene 'Micki' Chi transformed understanding of how students learn — from expert-novice differences and self-explanation to her ICAP framework of active, constructive and interactive engagement. She directs the Learning and Cognition Lab at Arizona State University and is a member of the National Academy of Education.
