Biography
An economist and educator, Robert Lerman has changed how policymakers think about routes to rewarding careers. Professor emeritus of economics at American University, Urban Institute fellow and co-founder of Apprenticeships for America, he is widely regarded as the country's foremost expert on apprenticeship — an 'earn, produce and learn' path that complements traditional college.
