Biography
Across more than six decades, Edmund W. Gordon has shaped education, psychology and social science research alike. A founding architect of Head Start and Director Emeritus of the Gordon Institute for Advanced Study at Teachers College, Columbia University, his scholarship and leadership have advanced equity and access to quality education for all students.
